Complete your personal statement, Select your 5 University choices, Your Firm choice & Insurance choice. - Accept your Offers!
Congratulation on your offers, now accept them! You can now register as a student. - Visit Open Days!
It is important to visit the University you have selected to attend to ensure that you will be happy there, take a look at the facilities and get used to your surroundings. If you have any worries or questions there will be a number of people around to talk too. - A Level Results Day!
The day has come, hopefully it is full of celebration! If things did not go as expected, you may be able to go through clearing to secure attendance at your selected university, take a look at our “Clearing” tab on the left for more info. - Register your Attendance!
You have done it! By now you should be all ready to move in, and start a new chapter in your life!
Important Dates!
The dates vary between courses and course providers.
15 January 2020 • Undergraduate ✓
This is our ‘equal consideration’ deadline, which means course providers must consider all of the applications received by this time equally.
Universities and colleges do not have to consider applications received after the deadline, though they can if there are any spaces available once the on-time applications have been considered.
This is excluding applications for medicine, veterinary medicine/science, dentistry, and Oxford or Cambridge, which must be submitted by 15 October.
2020 entry deadline for all UCAS Undergraduate courses, except those with a 15 October deadline
Applications for all UCAS Undergraduate courses, except those with a 15 October deadline, should arrive at UCAS by 18:00 (UK time) on 15 January 2020.
25 February 2021 • Undergraduate ✓
If you’ve used all five choices, and you’re not holding any offers, you’ll be able to add another choice using Extra.
Extra is another chance for you to gain a place at university or college, between 25 February and 5 July. If you’re elibible, during this period you’ll be able to apply to additional universities, one a a time.
If you don’t get the offer you want in Extra, don’t worry – you can still use Clearing to add another choice.

If you receive all your uni/college decisions by 31 March 2020, you must reply to any offers by today, otherwise they’ll be declined (except if you have a postal address outside the EU, or are using Extra to find a place).
These reply deadlines are based on when we get the last decision in from your university or college choices. Check Track to see your personal deadline.

You can still apply with up to five choices on your UCAS Undergraduate application form until 18:00 (UK time) today. After this time, you will automically be entered into Clearing.
Applying directly through Clearing means that as opposed to having five choices, you will be applying for a single university at a time.

If you’ve met and exceeded conditions for your firm choice, you might be thinking about looking for an alternative course.
Adjustment is a chance for you to reconsider where and what to study. If you’ve had a conditional firm choice accepted – and therefore made into an unconditional firm choice – you could potentially swap your place for one on another course you prefer.
Adjustment is available from A level results day (13 August 2020), until 31 August. It’s entirely optional, and a lot of competitive courses will be full – but other applicants might have missed their conditions or swapped a course too, so it could be worth seeing what’s available.
You might be happy where you are, but with our Adjustment service, it’s possible you could swap where you’re studying. So if you’re curious, take a look at what’s available:

If you have any outstanding offer conditions, they must be met by today – otherwise, the uni or college might not accept you.
If this were to happen, however, you may still be able to apply through Clearing.

UCAS Undergraduate applications must be with us at UCAS by 18:00 (UK time) today to meet the final deadline for courses with 2020 entry. So if you’re looking to start university or college in 2020, make sure you’ve submitted by then!
